2009-03-11 Books inspire action - a raison d' whatever for the book-discuss site
The idea of using books and authors as a jumping off point for 'what do we do about' and also an investment/shopping guideline to live mindfully, is really authenticated by this story. People are inspired by books, and authors have taken the time to think and research deeply into a subject. Books should be the central locus of action and discussion, and they are in person, but are left out of Web 2.0 too much.
